Who we are.

EGALA AND ASSOCIATES is a registered wholly Ghanaian owned firm offering the services of Public Accountants. Our firm is registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ghana and as Members of that Institute we adhere to its Code of ethics. We are also registered with the Auditor-General of Ghana.

Our Partners are fellows of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants of the United Kingdom and members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ghana.

We maintain a permanent core professional support team of Twelve (12) and Administrative/Secretarial staff of Five (5) with an auxiliary staff of Six (6). We operate with professional Associates and are capable of immediately fielding up to 25 Professional Auditing staff and staff in other disciplines depending on the requirements of a project assignment.

Idris Egala is the Senior Partner of Egala & Associates (EAA) with over 40 extensive years of experience in Financial Management, Audit and Assurance, Business Advisory Services and Tax Consultancy.

As a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (FCCA) and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ghana (ICA), Mr Egala has undertaken several services for private and government establishments such as Ghana Civil Aviation Authority, Ghana National Petroleum Corporation, Ghana Education Trust Fund (GetFund), Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority, National Institutional Renewal Programme (NIRP), and several World Bank projects.

He has a wealth of experience having held directorship (member and chairman) for the Boards of several private and public organizations including the Institute of Professional Studies (IPS), Unicontrol Commodities Ghana Ltd. (UCC), Bank of Ghana, Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, State Gold Mining Corporation and others.

He is the current Chairman of the Central Tender Review Board (CTRB) of the Ministry of Finance.

Enoch Dodoo has been a Partner at Egala & Associates (EAA) since 2003, contributing a wealth of Auditing and Accounting Experiences.

Mr Dodoo has performed audits and examinations of a number of banks including Standard Chartered Bank (GH), Barclays, Ghana Commercial Bank, Bank of Ghana, National Development Bank (SL), Central Bank of the Gambia, Agricultural Development Bank (SL), National Westminster Bank (UK), The Royal Bank of Scotland (UK).

As a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (FCCA) and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ghana (ICA) he served as a Member of Council of ICA as well as the Chairman of Technical and Research Comittee.

Alex Abugri

Alex Abugri has been an Audit Partner at Egala & Associates (EAA) since 2013 contributing a wealth of Auditing and Accounting experiences.

Before working with EAA, Mr Abugri worked with several firms in the UK, Gambia and Ghana including URADEP (World Bank project), Auditor General's Department, Price Waterhouse Coopers (GH), Synergy Consulting, European Development Fund PMU (Gambia), T.L. Thomas & Co. (UK), Wertheim Securities Ltd (UK), and others.

He is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (FCCA) and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ghana (ICAG).
